SYNTAX develops corporate design and web site for
Bidaya Ventures

SYNTAX, the branding, information and digital architects, today unveiled the corporate design and web site for Bidaya Ventures ( www.bidaya.com ), an innovative advisory firm serving investors and entrepreneurs in the Arab world's technology and technology-driven sectors.
Bidaya (Arabic for 'Beginning') was launched last year by serial entrepreneur Khaldoon Tabaza and Fayez Abu Awad, a seasoned expert in financial and organizational evaluations in professional services, health services and technology.
The company provides an end-to-end set of services that helps clients research, plan, fund, build and grow successful business and maximise the returns on investments and efforts.
SYNTAX was commissioned with the creation of the company's corporate design, marketing materials and website.
The company's visual identity is based on an "dynamic dot", combined with a range of photographic statements representing the concept of a new beginning. These statements include images of cellular division, blossoms, a footprint on the moon and other evocative images. These images appear throughout the website and even on the back sides of business cards.
Commenting on the company's identity, Ahmad Humeid, CEO of SYNTAX said, "the dynamic dot is an appropriate symbol for a company that helps entrepreneurs and investors start new ventures. The dot is the beginning and the end. It represents the point of departure. What comes after the full-stop is a new sentence. The dot is the origin of any geometry; it's a coordinate, relative to which everything is situated."
